Munster Girls Softball
Proudly displays new scoreboards!
On both, "C" and "D" Fields!
Scoreboards are available for use
as of July 14, 2001
Munster Girls Softball would like to thank the many
people who worked hard to get this job done!
Tony Castaneda made most of the arrangements with
some early help from Larry Velchek. Jim Strudas coordinated the demolition and installation
work. Thanks also go out to Kieth Kolb for his efforts and electrical expertise. Jerry
Rosko, Superintendent of Maintenance for Munster Parks and Recreation helped with the demolition of
the old scoreboards and some installation work.
MGS would also like to thank Yellow Freight for donating
the delivery services, and, of course, Pepsi.
These new scoreboards are really cool! They have a game timer
so everyone will know how much time is left for additional innings. Also,
the board has a remote control console, so the scorekeeper can be
anywhere, even in the stands. Of course it tracks the balls,
strikes, outs, the inning and the score.
This is a great addition on "C" and "D" Fields!
