After Week 5 (Regular season is over)
There was a three way tie in the 16U division. To reconcile ties, first compare head to head play, then compare runs scored.
If there is no resolution, ties are decided by a coin flip.
In this case:
- In Comets v. Wolves, August 27 Wolves won 6-3, September 23 resulted in a tie 3-3. So Wolves win over Comets.
- In Comets v. Sharks, August 20 Comets win 9-2, but on September 17 Sharks win 9-2. In runs scored the total is 11-11. The result will be solved by a coin flip.
- In Sharks v. Wolves, August 27 Sharks won 2-1, but on September 10 Wolves won 3-2. In runs scored the total is 4-4. The result will be solved by a coin flip.
A coin flip was held between the Wolves and the Sharks, and the wolves won the toss. Wolves win second place. Since the Wolves won the toss, the sharks and comets will flip for third place.
