Munster Girls Softball operates a fall league program for ages 9-16, running from mid-August through September 30.
There is no residency requirement for fall league. Each division U10, U12 and U16 is limited to six teams of 12 players.
The League Divisions are as follows:
9-10 yr olds - Jr. Miss Division (U10)
The format of league play is five weeks of double headers, all held on Saturdays.
There will be no games on Labor day weekend. The sixth Saturday is Tournament day, where each division will play a one-day, single elimination tournament. Tournament seeding is based on league standings.
Registration for Fall League is limited on a first-come, first-served basis. The league usually sells out,
so don't wait for the final registration day. Those signed up will have their names displayed on this
web site. Registration events will be held in late July at the concession stand. Check back for specific dates. Munster Girls Softball
The following ad appeared in several local news papers:
Munster Girls Softball will be holding registration for its highly competitive Fall League on Wednesday 7/14 and Thursday 7/22,
from 6:00-8:00pm at Community Park in Munster. Pitcher/Catcher evaluations will be Wednesday 8/4 at 6:00pm, with a player draft
immediately following. A limit of six requests per team, including travel players, will be honored. The Fall League will run for
six weeks, with double headers on Saturdays, beginning 8/21 and concluding with a single elimination tournament on 10/2. The
league is open to players ages 9-17 as of 1-1-2010. The registration fee is $85.00. There is an additional out-of-town fee
of $15 for non-Munster residents. Space is limited to the first 72 players per division.
