Managers Corner
The intent of this page is to provide prospective league managers with a quick reference to useful information associated with the league.

- MGS has insurance for players and coaches injured during any MGS event. This
insurance is "secondary" insurance and pays applicable remaining expenses
after the person's primary insurance coverage has been used. If an injury occurs you
must fill out an accident form (see below). To make a claim, please advise the parent to contact our
insurance company, Brown Insurance Group (219) 972-6060.
- Managers are responsible for filling out accident reporting forms and incident
reporting forms. Umpires may also fill out incident reporting forms. Please
fill them out on the same day of the event and turn them in to any board member.

- Skills Matrix - the purpose of this matrix is to set the skills expectations by
age group. Managers should strive to develop skills at, or above, this level of
performance. Parents should use this document as a guideline for their child's
softball skills development.
